But, can I point out a couple of things without offending?
The reins usually on a real time halter are attached to it by rings near the mouth. Also, halter around the head is closer to the head.
And I'm a bit confused, Is this a English, Australian or Western saddle?

Or, am I being a totally Horse geek about all this?

Yeah I noted posture too but didn't want to say more and sound like total pain.
I was thinking the beefy look could be Percheron? I hope I remembered the breed name right. It's not grey Like the Norwegian draft horses.

*laugh* I think you are overthinking this. I don't know what kind of horse it is meant to be, I just liked color and the feathers. They did have a number of draft horses available, also a unicorn. *grin*

Sometimes it gets my hands correctly on the reins and sometimes not. It is a western saddle. I'd much rather have an English side saddle since I ride in the Victorian-themed sims, but this is what was available.

The thing that has amazed me about it is that it is actually more fun to "ride" than to walk around. I'm am continually amazed by the reactions a 3D world invokes in me, when I think it should be the same as the old chat-based MUUs I sometimes hung out in.

I understand the more fun part about ride vs walk. Most horse "tours"bore me to tears after spending not a small amount of time of my teen years on a horse.Walking?! Oh no! Ride the wind? OH YEAH!

WEll, I almost thought it was a Australian saddle. It has no saddle blanket and no saddle horn. Much like the Aussie saddle in look.Aussie saddles are a hybrid of the English saddle. Bit bigger than English saddles. Sometimes has horn some times not. It has wide seat like Western and longer stirrups than English too. But, like the English not very ornate and smaller than Western saddle.

Or the reins are attached to the bit peices underneath the mouth. Is that what you were trying for?
