2. What color of pants are you wearing right now? black leggings, I almost always wear nice stretchy leggings.
3. What are you listening to right now? A Celtic band called Coventry which quite coincidently I got fromphoenixw who plays/sings therein.
4. What are the last 4 digits of your phone number? KPFA, really. ;-) Always gives me a bit of a turn during pledge time.
5. What was the last thing you ate? A slice of watermelon and some tuna glop (prime comfort food - macaroni, cheese, tuna and mushroom soup all glopped together with soy sauce thereupon).
6. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Carmine red.
7. Where do you plan to go, or went on your honeymoon? It took a year pass our handfasting but Russell and I went to the UK and Ireland.
8. How is the weather right now? sunny, from what I can see
out Kurt's window (across the hall). I haven't been outside since I got here
before 6am at which time it was dark and clear and warmer than it should be.
9. Last person you talked to on the phone? Russell called me this morning to whisper sweet nothings and check on tonight's plans.
10. What's the first thing you notice about the opposite sex? Probably hair. I'm a child of the 60's after all.
11. Do you like the person that sent you this? "sent", obviously a left over email meme. Yes, I like the person in whose journal I saw this. :-)
13. Your favorite drink? F&M Assam Superb.
14. Your favorite alcoholic drink? Champagne, a natural if possible. Followed by a really good cognac.
16. What is your favorite sport? hmm. does bellydancing count?
17. What's the next CD that you are going to get? *blink* Who knows? I am buying more CDs based on listening to other people's iTunes lists. *laugh* Hence the last thing I got was a couple of Stan Rogers CDs. Also I am updating my middle eastern music for dancing to. Lots of Hossam Ramsey. :-)
18. What is your hair color? The box says "burgundy". A sort of dark red.
19. What are the color of your eyes? green mostly but that sort of hazel that shifts from green to brown.
20. Do you wear contacts? No. My eyes are too dry to tolerate them although I occasionally wear yellow (think darth maul) contacts for fun. They are pre-lasik though so I need a new pair.
21. Do you have any siblings? Yes, many. Both birth and chosen sibs.
22. What is your favorite month? *blink* I don't think I have ever thought about months as something one could have a "favorite". Probably from about mid-December until mid-January because that is when I get the most fun, present-filled times. :-)
23. What is your favorite food? Well, the aforementioned tuna glop is a childhood fave. My favorite cuisine is Indian with sushi a close second.
24. Last movie you watched? Cirque du Soleil: Baroque Oddessey (via netflix) at home and Kill Bill in the theatre. It was interesting to hear about the formation of Cirque.
25. What is your favorite day of the year? Beltaine!
26. Are you too shy to ask someone out? Oh, fairly. I am really quite shy.
27. Do you like scary or happy movies better? I don't like scary movies at all but I like action/sf probably better than generic "happy movies"
28. Do you like summer or winter better? Well, I live in California so that I don't have to live with four seasons. I like the dry season better than the wet season in general. But I don't really mind either.
29. Do you like hugs or kisses better? I am willing to share hugs with more people than I am willing to kiss. But people who are fun to kiss are almost always champion cuddlers too. I like them both together. :-)
30. Do you like relationships or one night stands better? relationships, long slow growing deep relationships. (Okay, that was Ruth's answer but I entirely agree and she said it soooo well!)
31. Do you like chocolate or vanilla ice cream better? Vanilla. But I'd rather have mango actually. Or a really good coffee ice cream.
32. Have you ever been in love? Oh yes!

34. Are you Romantic? I don't think so.
35. What is your shoe size? 7-1/2, but I have fairly muscular calves which make buying boots hard.

Lise came up with a fabulous phrase when we were in Manhattan and I was inquiring about memories from her childhood there. "Notable." as in, what are some of your notable memories from being a kid here? (her mother walking them to Central Park to practice and learn bicycle riding was among them; we were already on the bus coming from the Cloisters which was her early-teen place to come and Dream...)
that way you can celebrate whatever memories & stories pop up to be told at whatever moment, without having to spend or waste any time ranking them, ew.
37 - I'm terribly fond of 23 as well. I'm also terribly fond of getting to hear Robert Anton Wilson "go off" about synchronicities and patterns in number usage & symbolism. He did quite a riff on twelves at Pantheacon a number of years ago (for some reason it's been quite a few years since I've made it to Pantheacon. I'm going to remedy that this year.)
