Sunday - Wednesday morning in one whack

rowanfWow, no journal entry for days. Life has gotten away from me!
Sunday - had a lovely day hanging out with Kurt & Marina. She brought me a ton of florentines again. She must think I'm too skinny. I so cannot agree! But darn those things are good! And then we went out to Original Joe's for dinner... so I've been eating leftovers from that one meal for three days. My last tupperware of veal scallopini sec with mushrooms is waiting in the work fridge for lunch. Yum.
Monday - work is crazy as we're coming up on a patent meetings. They have to get their disclosures in this week so everyone has realized they need searches. I'm doing my impresssion of a one-armed paperhanger again with no breaks for journal reading/writing. Monday night I was Petra's only student and we worked on thinking about watery moves for my fishy water dance at Merrymeet. Then we surfed belly dance sites looking at cool costumes we couldn't afford. *LOL* She finally kicked me out so she could get some school work done.

mdlbear. I don't know if it was the weights he's newly using again or the presence of another man, but Kurt just took off power walking and left us in the dust. Three people can't walk abreast anywhere along the route and so there wasn't much conversation either. Not as much fun as usual. I enjoy the silly conversations much more than the walking itself. (I still think exercise endorphins are mythical.) After work I drove up to Berkeley to meet with Katya for a briefing about what messages she wants to get across at the Interfaith Pagan Pride Parade on Sunday. As Parade Marshals, Russell and I aren't really going to be representing anyone else so I declined a sound bite opportunity. I think it would be confusing to reporters if we talked about our personal stuff. We can answer questions and we have a talk/meditation to do when we get back to People's Park. I hope Richard is bringing my mural to the parade. He said he could, but he hasn't returned my emails. Should I start stressing about it and thinking about renting a truck to haul her in? Wah!
Wednesday - not much has happened yet. *LOL* I've read a couple dozen friends journal entries. I am days behind of course. I have done the two most urgent work tasks in my mailbox.
Russell gets home tonight! Yay. I won't be home myself until 9:30 or so since I have a Bridge CC meeting. We're planning our three events to encourage people to come to the Parliament of the World's Religions next summer in Barcelona. I cancelled tea with Carole tomorrow so I can stay in bed just a little bit longer and cuddle with Russell. I have missed him so much! I can't wait to go away on holiday and have three solid weeks of hangout time with no work to interfere. :-)
