Hypoallergenic cats... guess not
Jan. 16th, 2007 02:20 pmThere was an article in the current issue of The Scientist, Volume 21, Issue 1, Page 32 called Felis Enigmaticus: A company's shady past and questionable science raise doubts on their promises of a $4,000 hypoallergenic cat.. It seems that the founder is a scam artist with a rap sheet, there don't seem to be any laboratories or scientists. Just a scheme to separate people from a lot of money on the dream of having a cat. I wasn't ready to shell out $6,000 ($4,000 plus handling) for a cat but I can't say the temptation wasn't there. It is very sad. I would love to be able to live with a cat and still breathe. Damn.
