Friday, Russell and I had planned to spend the day together but he had to be back at work on Thursday. *LOL* That was a shock to him. I spent the day ripping CD's, tidying, un-trimming the tree and generally doing life maintenance things. Ambushed Russell when he got home and we never did manage to eat dinner. *chortle*

I finally got the FM adaptor for my iPod but I don't know how useful it will be. :-( The FM band is just so full in the Bay Area that (at least on the radio in my kitchen) I couldn't get a clear channel. *pout* I was really looking forward to having a way to play it out loud anywhere. I can get a car cassette adapter, of course, but most situations will have closed cassette players so that isn't a general solution. I am loving the iPod though. I've entered over 100 albums so far. This is fun!

if that's the iRock it works really well in the car in London to play the iPod to the radio perhaps because the car body tends to block out the competing stations (even compared to the aerial ;-) ) so it plays nicely, even if managing the power adapter and the iPod and the iRock is a bit crowded on the dash ;-) we plot to drive up behind people and hijack their music away from bangin' techno when they have the windows open (really, we'd like to put up chintz curtains and hand them tea and scones too). We do often have to change the channel on the adapter - the iRock has 4 choices.

It worked at bit in Russell's car at 88.1. 88.5 here is a big, loud station and bleeds a bit in both directions it seems.

I love the idea o highjacking people's music. *LOL*
