Shopping woes and my evening

I have been reviewing my wardrobe with an eye to what to wear touristing around New York and I realized I just don't have all that many pants available. I haven't been able to get leggings in the last couple of years as everyone went to "low rise" styles. And with my stomach troubles I have been opting for floaty dresses over waistbands alot anyway. So tonight after work I took myself off to the mall to find a pair or two of pants. Except... everything is low-rise. What happened to choice? I know that in Second Life if my avatar wants high rise pants she has to buy boy stuff.. but that just doesn't work in the real world. Arghh!

Things have been pretty quiet. Russell is off on holiday (Adobe is shut down) and having a fun time with Erika. I think they went to the Hearst Castle night tour tonight. I tried to play WoW but the big patch had the servers down far into the evening. I wandered into Second Life for awhile and caught up on sone things. And puttered around the house. But it is past bedtime and I'm off to bed.

I had breakfast with another friend this morning and she is currently at University. She says everyone has bare midriffs from the hip bones to just below the breasts. Okay... not any crazier than mini-skirts were. But what about we who need to go to work? And aren't 18.

Have you tried shopping for leggings online? I've been able to find Danskin leggings large enough for me, and seemingly not low-rise, at the Says Who? store. They carry Danskin.
