Yeah, I know - here on Lj it is 25 or more. But on Flickr it was 16 and I got tagged there first thank goodness. This is hard!!
1. I have been in every state in US except Alaska.
2. I got my first horse at age 5-1/2. Her name was Flicka and we named her foal was Sugarfoot.
3. The coolest thing I ever dug up was an effigy pipe in a Woodland period site in northern Florida. The same site yielded a copper breastplate of the hook-nosed God. But I didn't work on that directly though.
4. I'm allergic to cats and dogs and really miss being able to live with cats.
5. I've been in every continent except Asia.
6. I am ordained as priestess to two different Goddesses - Brighid (by Fellowship of Isis) and Pombagira (by American Magic Umbanda House). I have initiations in several different Wiccan and magical traditions. I am also a priestess of Dionysos.
7. My favorite music is any kind I can sing. I am mostly bored by instrumental music.
8. I read a book a day for most of my life but in the last decade I hardly read a book a month.
9. I have read science fiction most of my life as my father was First Fandom. The pinnacle of my own fandom was the year I had a manuscript in the writer's workshop, art in the artshow and one best in show at the costume contest at BayCon. No, nothing came of the manuscript.
10. I use BOINC for distributed computing on Malaria Control & Rosetta. I'm part of Team Sci-Fi.
11. I have entered 17,342 Bills worth $83,519 into http://www.wheresgeorge.com/
12. My virtual world avatars and toons have very distinct personalities. Sometimes I worry about that.
13. Kurt suggested like five things I could say about myself this morning in a phone call. But I've forgotten what they are.
14. I have six tattoos which are all very meaningful. But I wish I had known in my 20s that I would keep getting tatts my whole life and planned out my body.
15. My family had two tours in Panama when my father was in the Navy. I consider myself a child of the tropics. When I visited Hawaii I was amazed at all the plant life I recognized.
16. I love champagne but am drawn more to the dryer Bruts and Naturals than to the seemingly more popular sweeter bubblies.

There may have been actual science involved in the beginning but nothing was ever peer-reviewed or given scientific scrutiny. Believe me, if someone actually *does* make knockout cats I am so there.
