Back from NAIN

Tuesday we began the day with our "spiritual immersion" which Don led. No-one came but me so we stood under a tree and did a grounding together. It was a very nice way to start the day. After breakfast we had a wrap-up of our Caring for Creation track ending in a dance to a variation on "wearing my long tail feathers as I fly" which is the most Pagan dance I've ever done led by the Dances of Universal Peace. I spoke to the drummer afterward and he said there is a good bit of variation between groups and that I should check out some of the dance camps which often have a theme, including one last year with an Earth Religion theme.
The whole community gathered for closing and more Dances of Universal Peace. Once again I think I'll put the local Dances on my calendar and see if I can't actually make them a regular thing in my life. We picked up our boxed lunches and I sat with Don, Paul and Steve Fitzgerald and talked about AI and other things. Barbara came by and said she had called a cab, so I hurried back to my room and finished packing. Don, Barbara and I went to the airport together and hung out for awhile until our flights. It was nice to visit with Barbara. I wish I had taken the Peacebuilding track she facilitated. I like her and admire her work.
Russell picked me up at the airport and it was so nice to spend an evening together and to sleep in my own bed. Between his summer camp and NAIN we had been apart for over a week! A very unusual occurrence and once I'm not keen to repeat.
Now... work, House Anniversary Bembe, Ru & Lise's housewarming, more work and then off to MerryMeet next Wednesday. And then England 10 days after that. I will enjoy my home and cuddle time whilst I may!
