CPR, singing, gratitude & Second Life
Jul. 1st, 2007 08:27 amThursday at work we had our annual Red Cross First Aid/CPR class, this year with AED training too. I don't think I'd've picked as muscle sore week for doing this if I'd had a choice. *grin* But I am once again certified for another year. I have been off and on since the 1970's and in general I think it is a very good thing. And I'm glad to have had a chance to play with the AEDs, they seem to be quite easy to use. Thursday night was the Pagan Singing group and we had a good time. I have hopes it really will take off!
Friday I didn't really have anything on my plate so I mostly read and hung out inworld. I really need to get off my ass more. Friday night we had a circle. We did several rounds of gratitudes and I am really very grateful for so many things in my life - my polyfamily, my home, my work, my technology, my Second Life, the wonderful summer fruits and so much more. :-)
In Second Life I have wanted to try some of the cat and fox avatars but the built up ones seem very cartoonish. So I have been trying on Neko skins which give leopard or tiger stripes to a basically human avatar. I have had one for awhile but Scar wanted me to get one that was more human. So here is my Neko babe avatar. *grin*
