It's a yucky day in the neighborhood
Jan. 25th, 2003 08:30 pmHeartfelt thanks to everyone who spoke kind words about Circe. I really appreciate it.
I guess I finally succumbed to the cold/flu/sore throat w/ fever that everyone at Russell's office seems to have. I spent today totally out of it for the most part. Sleeping, surfing the net, vegging out. Blech. I missed the South Bay Sacred Connections event I'd been looking forward too. And Russell is still working long nights and weekends. "Crunch time" This is probably just as well today sing I prefer being alone when I'm sick. But I'd prefer not to be sick.
We had a definite sign of spring this morning... a neighbor came by wanting a spray of flowering quince. Much desired for ikebana and for Chinese New Year. I love having flowering quince! The other sign for getting toward Imbolc is the sounds of cats in heat. All part of the local seasonal round.
