Sunday
Despite an earlier evening (and totally missing the sushi feast in the suite provided by [livejournal.com profile] gnostica) I did not make it to any 9am sessions on Sunday either.

I went to "Seeing with Spirit, Hearing with Soul: Sharpening Sensory Memory in Trancework" with Diana Paxson at 11am. It was interesting but nothing new to me. It is good to see practical workshops on things like that though.

Afterward I went to the Magical Acts/COG Charity Auction and spent the next several hours bidding and cheering on the bidders. I think that both organizations probably make some good money. I wound up with what I had come for - the original artwork of the Cretan Snake Goddess which was on the cover of the program book this year. Just beautiful! Plus a couple of other things. *wry grin* A $40 gift certificate to Boulder Creek Brewery, a pair of handknit socks from Anya and something else I can't remember at the moment. I didn't get Fiona's watercolor of rabbits under the moon. Gareth *really* wanted it and outbid what I was willing to pay. Not that I need more flat art but that was surely a beautiful piece! It was right in front of where I was sitting and I did enjoy viewing it for the time of the auction.

As I was wondering away from that Russell called me and I met him in the dealer's room and changed into my corset. At 5:30 I headed home and went out to dinner with Russell and Liza at Trieu Chau. That took longer than anticipated and I did not make it back by 7pm for the NROOGD 35th Anniversary Ritual. *sigh* Dinner out just doesn't seem to work this year! After the ritual was over I hung out with folks in the NROOGD suite until about 10pm when I got a call from Russell & Liza that she had lost her purse and was it in my car. I went down to check and decided to head for home. I just can't for for as many hours as I used to!
