According to Elton's Annwn web site, Elton had wanted to record a different version of The Blacksmith (a traditional tune) on each Annwn album, but was talked out of it. To quote Elton on the version of The Blacksmith that appears on the album Anarchy and Rapture: "English traditional. Elton once had the bizarre idea that we should put a different version of this on every Annwn album. Thankfully, that didn't happen ... but this African-inspired version is a pretty good one."
