Safely arrived in Missouri

So this morning, despite my sinus infection, I got up at 4:30am and got ready to fly off to Missouri. My brains were not functioning very well. I managed to bring my antibiotics but not my steroid nose drops. Or toothpaste and a few other essentials. *sigh* I got here okay, got the rental car, drove for a couple of hours and am in Boonville, MO (despite a conviction that i really shouldn't be operating heavy machinery). I'm rooming with my sister. Went out for dinner with the folks but we're all dragging. They went to Aunt Ona's funeral this morning on their way through Oklahoma. Our family's elders are disappearing. I'm going to bed now. Don't know if my ambitious genealogy plans will bear any fruit at all. Or my visit to Ozark Avalon. I came a day before the funeral to have time to do things. Bah. I hate being sick.
