My week so far
May. 14th, 2008 03:38 pmThis week has been pretty normal. I danced on Monday night for only about an hour as various aches and pains prevented me. I really need a massage! Poor Russell has a bad cold and sore throat. What a pair!
Tuesday I had some interesting stuff at work and in the evening went to a concert in Second Life wherein Raymond and MaryLee Frog (Backintyme) performed romantic 19th-century songs and stories at The Dakota Playhouse in Deadwood (a Western US 19th century area). They were just great! The musicians I get to hear perform via SL is really one of the things that excites me about being inworld. Unfortunately, the sim went down about 3/4 of the way through. I don't know if they finished they concert when it came back up as I had been wafted away to dance with the Fae folk. Dancing and chatting with friends is another thing I like about SL. And dancing with the Fae often means dancing in air which is fun.
Tonight I'm tempted to drive up to the City for a real life concert by some SL musicians (some of whom I've heard inworld). Depends on whether Russell is well enough to want me at home. And whether I really have the energy.
Oh! I saw the coolest sim design in the Royal Society blog yesterday. If I can every afford an island, something whimsical like that would greatly appeal.
