where have all the hours gone
Apr. 3rd, 2003 10:23 amThis week has flown by. Work is back up to speed after year-end reports and visitors from Japan. Wow. I got used to the slightly slower pace there for awhile.
Someone sent me the url for the National Coalition for Dialogue & Deliberation Iraq Crisis Forum. This is a timely and excellent resource... but I admit that other things on the site were equally compelling. I esp. like all the different quotes about the meaning of the word dialogue.
I wish I had more time to study conflict resolution, dialogue and mediation skills. There are already not enough hours in the day. I just can't take on a new thing at the moment. I was supposed to go to a meeting last night (of course) but I decided sleep was a better alternative. I'm sure it is mostly stress but I am just more tired than usual. In the next 25 days (up until we leave for Europe), I have exactly three evenings that aren't scheduled. Am I crazy!? I have also been reminded that if something doesn't get into my calendar it ain't happening in my life. Somehow the Ancient Ways festival got into that category this year. The weekend is totally booked with other things. *sigh* I am *really* looking forward to being on holiday for most of May! Three weeks of hanging out with Russell and doing fun things. Yes!
