Tuesday and peace
Feb. 5th, 2003 06:30 amYesterday I made it through the day at work. I will be very happy when the lingering effects of this flu are gone! Family dinner at the Fish Market. I had another crab cocktail. Not much longer before the winter's fresh crab is gone. One of the few nice things about winter (along with pomegranates and winter oranges).

Historians Against the War - http://chnm.gmu.edu/rhr/haw/
We historians call for a halt to the march towards war against Iraq. We are deeply concerned about the needless destruction of human life, the undermining of constitutional government in the U.S., the egregious curtailment of civil liberties and human rights at home and abroad, and the obstruction of world peace for the indefinite future.
I note that Librarians for Peace is up over 1500 signatures. If you are a librarian or library worker please consider signing. I love the slogan "Books not Bombs"!
( And a couple of quizzes that have been sitting around )
