Russell took me out to Alum Rock to walk in the park yesterday 'cause I had cabin fever pretty bad but my muscles were like noodles. We walked from the visitor's center area down to the grottos and back and that just exhausted me. But it was really nice to be out in the beautiful day. I wasn't quite shirt sleeve weather (there was a cuttingly cold wind) but it was close.

We finished watching the extended version of The Fellowship of the Ring. I think it is much better than the theatrical release version. Lots more time for character development. I can't wait for the extended Two Towers!

I'm at work today and doing much better (still have a sore throat though!). I see the doc this afternoon for shoulder shot (yay) and a different one for just routine stuff. I'll probably ask her about my throat and continuing malaise. *sigh*

I'm terza rima, and I talk and smile.
Where others lock their rhymes and thoughts away
I let mine out, and chatter all the while.

I'm rarely on my own - a wasted day
Is any day that's spent without a friend,
With nothing much to do or hear or say.

I like to be with people, and depend
On company for being entertained;
Which seems a good solution, in the end.
